Should I really wear sneakers?
PLEASE! We know it sounds silly, but we really encourage everyone to wear their favorite sneakers. Our whole wedding party will be wearing sneakers, so you certainly won't be underdressed. No requirements here - come as you please, but have fun with it!
What does Festive, Fun Cocktail Attire Mean?
Pretty much: whatever you would wear to have fun at a party! Think cocktail level of "dressiness" but just a little more fun. Feel free to wear bright colors, patterns, etc. No jeans please, but pretty much anything else goes! Some quotes for inspiration: - "It means formal and funky!" - "This dress code can signify cocktail attire with creative flair" - "This does NOT mean holiday party festive" - "Festive attire is cocktail attire but with a fun colorful flair. Guests are encouraged to have fun and play with their look with bold colors and patterns." Feel free to show up in solid colors or no color at all. We're just going to have fun!
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm Central Time. Please plan to arrive between 4:30-4:45 to ensure you're seated in time!
Is there parking available?
Yes! We have free parking available on site. Please pull up to the venue and you will see an attendant to direct you to the closest available lot. Otherwise, there are several paid lots and ample street parking around the venue. We'd recommend parking within a block radius of the venue for safety reasons!
what's the best way to get to the venue?
We will have shuttles running to and from the 2 room-block hotels. You also can easily use Uber or Lyft to/from the venue. We have free parking available at the venue, but safety first, so PLEASE don't drive if you intend on drinking.
The shuttle will leave the Nashville Marriott promptly at 4:25PM (plan to board by 4:20). There will be a circle-back for any remaining guests at 4:45PM. Please aim to take the first shuttle so we can begin our ceremony on time.
The other shuttle will leave the Hampton Inn Capitol View promptly at 4:25PM (plan to board by 4:20PM). The shuttles will leave the venue at the end of the night to each hotel at 11pm. We will have earlier departures for the shuttles at 9pm and 10pm as well.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
We're having a "station" style dinner with a very wide variety of options. There will be clear labels for dietary restrictions and common allergens. If you have any severe allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure you can serve yourself first to avoid any cross-contamination.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar! We will also have custom mocktails for guest who prefer non-alcoholic options.
Am I allowed to take photos and videos at your wedding?
We ask for you to be unplugged for the ceremony, but you can take as many photos and videos as you please throughout the rest of the evening. Scan the QR codes around the venue to upload your photos and videos to share with us as well ◡̈ We'd LOVE to see them!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding will be fully indoors! January in Nashville can really vary in weather, but we anticipate it being very cold. We will have a coat check available as well!
will chuck be there?
HE SURE WILL BE (for the ceremony, at least)!
can i bring a guest?
Short answer: you can bring whoever your invitation is addressed to. No additional guests, please! If you have any questions, feel free to let us know.
can I bring my kids?
The wedding is a grown ups only event! We love your kids, but ask that they stay home for the evening.
If you're coming to our brunch, you're welcome to bring your family. Just let us know ahead of time!
how do I RSVP?
Please RSVP right here on our website! You can search for your name and it will pull up your group and the events of the weekend. You can RSVP for your whole party at once. Please RSVP by November 22nd!
